Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vyrion ("Vyrion", "we", "us", or "our") processes information when you use the Vyrion Discord bot, website, dashboard, and related services. Vyrion is designed to process only the information reasonably needed to provide, secure, and improve its features.
Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Vyrion may process:
- Discord account information: Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, and other basic account information Discord makes available to the bot or through OAuth.
- Server information: server IDs, names, icons, channel IDs, role IDs, member permissions, and other server metadata needed to operate and configure Vyrion.
- Configuration and feature data: prefixes, module settings, role bindings, ticket settings, logging routes, welcome/goodbye settings, security configuration, and similar records created by server administrators.
- Operational and moderation records: command usage, moderation cases, ticket records, security events, error information, and other feature records when an enabled Vyrion feature requires them.
- Message content: message content may be processed when necessary to execute a command or enabled feature, such as moderation, logging, automation, security, or message-history functionality. Content is not collected for advertising.
- Website and session information: Discord OAuth/session information and standard request metadata needed to authenticate the dashboard, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. OAuth credentials and service secrets are kept server-side.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide requested bot and dashboard features, authenticate authorized server managers, enforce permissions, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose errors, operate infrastructure, and improve service reliability. Vyrion does not sell personal information and does not use Discord data for targeted advertising.
Discord OAuth and Server Management
When you sign in to the Vyrion dashboard with Discord, Vyrion uses Discord OAuth to identify your account and determine which servers you are authorized to manage. The dashboard requests only the scopes needed for its current functionality. Authorization is re-checked server-side before protected server configuration is read or changed.
How Information Is Shared
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate Vyrion, such as hosting, database, security, and infrastructure providers, only as needed to provide the service. Vyrion also relies on Discord as the platform through which the bot operates. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend the security and integrity of Vyrion.
Data Retention and Deletion
Configuration and feature data is retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the applicable feature, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Different features may have different retention periods. Removing Vyrion from a server does not necessarily cause every stored record or backup to disappear immediately. Where applicable, a user or authorized server administrator may request deletion of data associated with them or their server through the Vyrion Support page. Data may remain temporarily in backups or security records until those systems rotate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Vyrion data, including server-side secret handling, permission checks, access controls, and protected database connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their Discord accounts and server permissions as well.
Your Choices and Requests
You can stop using Vyrion, remove the bot from servers you control, revoke Discord authorization where available, or contact Vyrion Support to ask questions about data associated with you. Server administrators are responsible for deciding which optional Vyrion features are enabled in their communities.
Children and Discord Age Requirements
Vyrion is intended for people who are permitted to use Discord under Discord's applicable age requirements and terms. We do not intentionally seek personal information from people who are not permitted to use Discord. If you believe information was provided in violation of those requirements, please contact Vyrion Support.
Third-Party Services
Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms and privacy practices. Optional Vyrion integrations may also involve third-party services, and those services may apply their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Vyrion changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vyrion after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to future use.
